In 1783 from the banks of Loch Tay, on a small farm called Remony, Alexander MacNaughton had an idea that would transform his life and the local community.
By working with the local sheep farmers and spinning their own wool, he was able to create quality wool blankets and fabric that were second to none. A proud Scottish tradition still continued two centuries later.
